The Resurrection of a Boat

The crowd got bigger during the half an hour of trying to get everything lined up to push the boat in.  It became apparent that more plywood was needed to cover the rocky dock.  Mike also wanted to be careful of the y-strut

Right: Some of the crowd leaves.
Left: The non-existent keel and y-strut

The other side of the chine (that's where the side of the boat and the bottom of the boat join) hit a rock during this attempt.  If you look closely at the chine (left pic) where the water is beginning to hit it, you can see the dark patch where the fiber glass split. Mike spent the rest of the day repairing the fiber glass.
By 3:00 PM the tide was coming in, most of the crowd had dispersed and the decision was made to wait until the next day.

End of the first attempt to push the boat in.
