After two years on land, months and months of work and with fingers crossed - the final heave-ho pushes the boat into the harbor. We didn't tell too many people what time this would occur, so the crowd was small. By the time the boat floated in Deane's Dock harbor, a crowd of local fishermen had gathered. This is a photo of the boat's last contact with land! (At least for awhile.) |
