With the Sea crashing over the
seawall, Jonathon Dunn (of Reef Runners Diving) attached a line to the
seawall and brought the other end to the boat. Captain Mike was aided by
Coral Jennings (of the original Beachcomber crew), and Willis Wilson and
Oral Garland (of the Salt Cay boat crew). With each surge of the sea
they pulled the ropes and turned the Beachcomber stern out into the harbor
and away from the crumbled dock.
The boat secured, the crew hopped onto a neighboring boat (the Lady D), onto the Salt Cay boat, and finally back to land. |
